This event is now part of the 2014 East Anglian League.
This is an entry-on-the-day event open to all, in one of WAOC's best areas.

We noticed how runnable this forest is in March after our night event last year, so we have chosen the date for this event accordingly.

Courses Short Green and above cross a minor road with occasional fast moving traffic. Take care when crossing the road.
Facilities Portable toilets will be provided and we expect a hot food and drink vendor.

Access to the car park will be from a minor road leading off the A600 Shefford to Bedford road. The event will be signed from the junction of the minor road with the A600 which is about 2.5 km north of the the A600/A507 junction.
Parking Please park as directed along the forest rides.
If bringing a coach or minibus please inform the organiser in advance.
Terrain & Map Rowney Warren is well-contoured pine forest with significant spur and valley structure. Map is 1:10,000, 5m contours and A4 size. Maps will be printed on waterproof paper

We will be using electronic punching. SI cards will be available to hire for 50p.

Beginners are very welcome at this event and help will be available to get you started. Please read our webpage What is orienteering? It should answer any questions you have.

Portable toilets will be provided for competitors at this event.

All competitors take part at their own risk.
