Organiser's Comments

Following on from the contours at Aversley, this was a somewhat different contour challenge. The three course format seemed to work though it did cause me no end of confusion trying to determine who was running on what course at what time! There was some debate over positioning of one of the rootstock controls, though after checking at the end, we decided it wasn't that far out. A re-survey of the contours in the SW corner of the map is probably due.

I was glad to get a good turnout - 15 competitors, 1 newcomer and 1 spectator - with 3 runners completing all 3 courses, and the rest split evenly between doing 1 or 2 courses.

Apologies for the gremlins in the splits printer. After fighting with drivers, and bizarre SportIdent software I have managed to extract all the splits times from the machine so full splits results are available to see, including the SplitsBrowser graph. For the results below, numbers in brackets next to each name indicate which run this was for the competitor. It would seem that tiredness overcame concentration for Robert and Peter, as they both unfortunately mispunched on their last run. Also, I'm sure Ian Stemp ran more than one course, but the machine only had one download record for his dibber. So apologies, Ian, if this is the case.
