Ampthill Park

Saturday, 17 September 2016

If travelling to Ampthill from the East, please be aware that the A507 between the A600 junction west of Shefford and the A6 junction at Clophill will be closed on Saturday from 08:00 to 18:00.

Latest News Ampthill Park is currently undergoing a 5 year plan of restoration to bring the park back to its original style when it was originally laid out by landscape gardener Lancelot 'Capability' Brown. This is part of a project to open up the park to enhance views and accessibility within the park.

This has resulted in some changes to the parkland areas, and so for those of you who have not visited Ampthill for some time, we would like to encourage you to attend as you will find the area quite different.
