Yvette Baker Trophy |
This event is a local qualifying round for the Yvette Baker Trophy.
Clubs must inform the organiser () by 27th February to confirm that they will be putting forward a team.

Fees |
As the Forestry Commission have not given permission to park at Chicksands Wood, we are having to provide a shuttle bus service so entry fees for adults have been increased slightly to cover the cost of this.
Individual competitors:
Adults £9 (£2 discount for senior BOF members)
Students & first junior in family £3 (Juniors are under 21)
Further juniors in a family £2
Groups:
Family groups sharing one map are charged at the single adult rate.
Dibber hire: 50p.

Directions and Parking |
There will be no parking available at Chicksands Wood. The car park for the event will be signed from the A600 Shefford to Bedford road at its junction with Sandy Lane about 2km north-west of Shefford. Parking and assembly, including registration and download, will be at the Forestry Commission car park at Rowney Warren, grid ref TL124404. Post code for SatNav: SG17 5QB. A shuttle bus service will operate between the car park and Chicksands Wood. The journey time is only 5 mins and the bus will depart from the car park about every 15 mins.
If you intend to bring a minibus or coach please inform the organiser in advance by email. |

We will be using electronic punching. SI cards will be available to hire for 50p.
Beginners are very welcome at this event and help will be available to get you started. Please read our webpage What is orienteering? It should answer any questions you have.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times.
Portable Toilet facilities will be provided at the assembly area.
