Colour Coded Event
Level D

Wimpole

Saturday, 10 March 2012

This event offers a range of colour coded courses up to Blue, on the undulating parkland and woodland of the Wimpole Hall Estate. Ideal for newcomers and anyone wanting to try the sport, with contours to challenge the more experienced.

Wimpole Hall Park is Lancelot “Capability” Brown’s transformation of a huge 18th Century formal garden. It is open smooth naturalistic parkland with chalk depressions, small woodland features and a former quarry. There are uncrossable fences and ditches to control livestock. There are also 300m long rows of trees, a landscaped open lake area and a folly.
