Courses White (very easy), yellow (easy), orange (moderate), light green (hard), short green, green, blue, brown (very hard). Free string course.

Terrain Varied contoured woodland on the Greensands Ridge.
Maps Map updated 2009. 1:10,000 with preprinted courses, A4 sized, not waterproof.
Please bring a plastic bag to protect your map.
Fees Individual competitors:
Adults £8 (£2 discount for senior BOF and EAOA local club members)
Students & first junior in family £3 (Juniors are under 21)
Further juniors in a family £2
Groups:
Family groups sharing one map are charged at the single adult rate.

Dibber hire: 50p.
Directions The event will be signed from the roundabout at the A507/A6 Junction near Clophill. ALL TRAFFIC MUST ENTER THE EVENT FROM THE SOUTH on the A6. Do not make a right turn from the A6. The car park entrance is at .

If approaching the area on the A507 or A6 Northbound, proceed North on the A6 at the roundabout at the A507/A6 junction near Clophill. Travel north for about 750m. Turn left into the parking area signed Maulden Wood.

If heading to the event southbound on the A6, proceed to the roundabout at the A507 and turn 180 degrees to enter the event from the South as above.
Parking The parking area is shared with the public and parking is limited. We request that competitors share cars where possible. If you are planning to bring a minibus, coach or other large vehicle, please contact the organiser in advance.

Further Information

We will be using electronic punching. SI cards will be available to hire for 50p.

Beginners are very welcome at this event and help will be available to get you started. Please read our webpage What is orienteering? It should answer any questions you have.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times. Parking is adjacent to the busy A6, so dogs must be on leads in the parking area please.

There are no toilet facilities on site.
There are no official traders at this event, but we are hoping a tea/buttie van will be in attendance in the car park.

All competitors take part at their own risk.


Data Protection Act: Entry information (name, age-class and club) and the results of this event will be stored on and processed by computer systems under the terms of the British Orienteering Federation's registration under the Data Protection Act. The results from this event will be published on the Internet.
