Organiser's Comments

We hope all of you that tried out our orienteering maze over the weekend enjoyed the experience. We recorded 288 timed runs over the two days.

We are not intending to publish a full list of results, since this is intended purely as a fun event, but the organisers were very impressed by some of the times achieved, especially because some of the juniors manged to surpass the times set by the grown ups on a few of the courses.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our weekend orienteering events, or at our weekly clubnights, normally held on a Wednesday evening.

We have arranged to hold our clubnight this week at the Lord Butler Leisure Centre in Saffron Walden - please note this will be on TUESDAY 23rd (Not a Wednesday!) and we will be offering some mini urban orienteering courses. These will not be suitable for unaccompanied juniors (under 16). Further details are available here.
Clubnights will then revert back to Wednesday evenings - details will be posted on this website ahead of each session.

Our weekend events always offer courses suitable for newcomers and children, and again details of each event are posted up in advance on the WAOC website. Our next weekend event is at Ampthill Park on 17th September - click here for details.
