Organiser's Comments

I hope everyone enjoyed their run at Bush Heath, and I hope that those of you who tried the TempO found that interesting too. Everything seemed to work well on the day, and as is always the case this is because of the efforts of many volunteers. I will not try to name all of you individually, but the event would not have been possible without the help of every single one who helped on the day. Oliver, who planned, and Richard, the controller, had to deal with a great deal of disruption to the planning process when felling activity started just a few weeks before the event, and I am very grateful for the extra efforts they put in to work around this. Special thanks to Joe Hobbs of CUOC who not only helped set out the controls and collect them in, but also did sterling work on download when he was not running between registration and the start to make sure all was as it should be.
Finally I'd like to thank the Caravan Club and their volunteers who gave us permission to use the site for parking and assembly but also opened up the site, locked it up again after we left, and cleared drifts of leaf-fall from the tracks for us.
It has been a long time since we used Bush Heath but I look forward to more events here in future.
