Organiser’s Comments
I hope everybody enjoyed their runs around Cambridge. I tried to give a spread of controls all over the map, though from
comments at the finish there may have been too many far away from the start. The winner was again Russ Ladkin, who
managed to get all but one of the controls on the far side of the railway.
My scoring for the mini-sprint was to try and tempt people back to Jesus Green for the extra points rather than starting it
straight away or just before they finished, though from looking at the number of people who attempted it, the points score was
probably too low for a 1.1km course – maybe 100 points would have tempted more people to do it.
I am sorry for the small map correction – the website that produces the map also includes all the private paths through
colleges etc. I thought I had removed them all off the map already, but that one managed to slip through...
Thank you all for coming; special thanks to Peter Allen, Ben and Rose for helping with equipment and control collecting.
