Organiser's CommentsThanks for coming along to enjoy the 'delights' of one of our far-flung Club outposts. Simple though the area is we hope you did really enjoy it. In the early days of the Club this area was used several times a year - yes, on a black and white drawing of the Park. By making the main course a score variety we intended that you should have some sort of a challenge, with a different flavour. Only one person managed to get the maximum 195 score. Well done Mickey Rooney. Also VERY well done to Tom Hemingway, getting only one low scorer wrong, but doing the round some 10 minutes, yes TEN MINUTES, faster than the next quickest. And he's only age 13. How does that make the rest of you feel? Maybe we'll see you all at Crown Lakes and Ferry Meadows again next year. Lindsey Freeman, Hally Hardie |
