Try-O : designed to introduce newcomers to the sport of orienteering with the offer of help and advice.

This event will use electronic punching and will have pre-marked maps. Si-cards will be available free of charge but please bring your your own if you have one, as we only have a limited number.

All competitors take part at their own risk.

Dogs are welcome. However please note that they should be on a lead in the vicinity of the car park. Also note that there will likely be cattle present in the park, as well as cattle-grids and stiles.

Please note that runners should only cross fences at the marked crossing points. When crossing at a gate, please remember to close any that you open.

If rain is likely on the day, please bring along an A4 bag to protect your map (a limited supply will be available)

Data Protection Act: Entry information (name, age-class and club) and the results of this event will be stored on and processed by computer systems under the terms of the British Orienteering Federation's registration under the Data Protection Act. The results from this event will be published on the Internet.
