Urban Night Event Local Score East Cambridge Tuesday, 24 November 2009

Venue The event will be in the streets of East Cambridge on a new map covering both sides of the railway line (including around the station) and linking into existing mapped areas. Format Similar to summer galoppens except it is dark. Will be a Score event - get as many points as you can in 1 hour. Starts 18.30 to 19.30 Start / Finish Location Romsey Recreation Ground. Meet inside the park gate opposite the zebra crossing on Vinery road. Getting There The recreation ground is only 1.5km from the train station, and easily accessible by foot / bike for those Cambridge based. If you need to bring a car it should be possible to find some parking in the nearby streets. Equipment Bring a pen and a bag for your map if wet. A small torch may be useful for map-reading / navigation in less well lit areas. Safety Be careful when crossing busy roads, you may wish to wear something reflective / fluorescent. Data Protection Act: Entry information (name, age-class and club) and the results of this event will be stored on and processed by computer systems under the terms of the British Orienteering Federation's registration under the Data Protection Act. The results from this event will be published on the Internet.
