Congratulations are due to several WAOC Memebers
Rachel Pocock represented England in the 6-way Interland contest in the Netherlands in March.
Having been selected initially as a reserve, she ran her socks off, finishing 6th as top England counter in W40+, helping England to it’s 19th successive win.
Tom Hemingway won the M18 Long class at the JK in March. He was our sole medal winner.
William Louth (Perse School) represented the England Select team at the World Schools Championships in Portugal in April.
William finished 5th in The Middle Distance race as 1st England counter and 5th in the Long race as 3rd England counter, so two podium places! And thus he helped England to win the team race.
Rachel Pocock won a silver medal in the British Middle Distance Championships on Stanton Moor in April.
Ursula Oxburgh won a bronze medal in the British Sprint Championships at the Loughborough University campus in April.
