An 80m ARDF event at Rowney Warren, organised by the Radio Society of Great Britain
Rowney Warren is well contoured with varied coniferous woodland. The location is off Sandy Lane. The grid reference is TL123403, the nearest Post Code is SG17 5QB (0.219km from TL123403).
The event will conform to the general principles of IARU events, but will be less formal than a Championship. The event is eight transmitters (in a five minute cycle) and an MO beacon at the finish. Pin punching will be used for this competition.The transmitters will be separated by at least 350m and the nearest transmitter to the Start will be not less than 400m away.

Entry fee is £5. Part of this fee will be a donation to West Anglian Orienteering Club for their cooperation and map facility.
WAOC members are most welcome and training and equipment will be available. Facilities are limited, so if you do intend to go aling, please contact the organiser, John Little, in advance. (His contact details are on the ARDF website)
Registration, Start and Finish for the ARDF event will be co-located. In accordance with the informality of the event the organisers will not require you to deposit your receiver in a pound before the transmitters start sending. You are expect to respect the spirit of this concession by refraining from using your receiver until you are at the start area immediately prior to your allotted start time.
