Tuesday Winter League |
WAOC proudly announces the launch of the TUESDAY WINTER LEAGUE with events on the 3rd Tuesday of each winter month.
The Street-O is a 1 hour modified score event with a penalty for every minute late so please bring a watch. The cost is £2 for seniors and £1 for juniors.
Meet on the W edge of Lammas Land (Newnham Road) where there is parking along the road. Look for a red box on wheels (Toyota Yaris Verso), otherwise described as a Postman Pat van, AF05TAU.
Starts will be from 6:30 to 7:15 with courses for all. Seniors will have a modified Street-O Score format while under-16s will be orienteering on the Fen.
BRING a pen or pencil and a plastic bag if the weather is wet. Over 16s will be crossing some busy roads so reflective gear is recommended, a torch and compass may both be useful and please bring a dibber if you have one.
