Compass Sport Cup Qualifier and Yvette Baker Trophy Final |

Merry Christmas!
And for the New Year:
WAOC has been drawn against DVO, LEI and NOC in the Compass Sport Cup qualifier at Beacon Hill in Leicestershire on Sunday 16th January (see LEI OC website for further details). In 2010 we managed to beat NOC (and NOR) to go through to the national Final - let's see if we can do the same again in 2011! Please let me know asap if you will be available to compete for WAOC at this event - I will need to do the entry early in the New Year. The event is open to all ages and everyone scores (juniors need to run at least Orange to score) - even if you aren't one of WAOC's highest scorers you still push down the scores of members of other clubs who are behind you, so the more of us take part the better chance we have of winning and going through to the Final again!

And for the Juniors - the Yvette Baker Trophy Final that was due to be held on Sunday 5th December has now been rescheduled for Sunday 6th February, still at Hawkbatch in the Wyre Forest near Bewdley. No need to re-enter (and juniors will be competing in their 2010 age classes rather than their 2011 age classes), but if there are any juniors who weren't available on 5th December but who are available to compete on Sunday 6th February then please let me know asap, also if anyone who was entered for the 5th December will not be available to compete on Sunday 6th February please also let me know asap.
